Parbud

Privacy Policy

Effective May 15, 2026. Contact: hello@parbud.care.

What we collect. We collect your email address, account details, usage data, parenting style assessment responses and results, chat messages, generated stories and activity requests, Daily Peace preferences, and payment records needed to provide the service. If you choose to enter a child's name, age, or behavioral details, that information may be included in your stored stories, activities, or chat history.

How we use it. We use this information to run Parbud, generate parenting support, personalize AI responses, send Daily Peace emails, manage subscriptions, enforce plan limits, answer support requests, and keep the product reliable and secure.

Third parties and subprocessors. Parbud uses Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for AI generation, Supabase/Postgres for database storage, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting. OpenAI API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default, and we disclose OpenAI as an AI subprocessor because your prompts may be sent there to generate responses.

Data retention and rights. We keep account and service data while your account is active and may retain billing or security records when required by law. Authenticated users can export their account data at /api/account/export and delete stored Parbud account data at /api/account/delete. You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing hello@parbud.care.

Children's information. Parbud is built for parents and caregivers, not for children to use directly. Please avoid sharing unnecessary child identifiers. Parents and caregivers are responsible for what they choose to enter about children.

No sale of data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Privacy standards. We operate Parbud in line with Canadian privacy expectations, including PIPEDA-style safeguards, and we support lawful privacy requests where applicable.
